If it has no bids on, you can add a buy it now price if that's what you want to do.

It isn't frowned upon - you can add a buy it now price if you want or you can leave the auction to run. Is up to you. But if there is lots of interest you may earn more if you leave it to run - some people want a cheeky low buy it now price as they know it may go for more.

I much prefer to agree a BIN. It means the item is sold and out of the way quicker.
