Just curious (and hopeful) Wink

To be honest it's hard to gauge given that I've had items with multiple watchers before that haven't received a bid.

And I know my friend often watches an item if she has something similar to sell and wants an idea how much it might make.

Yeah, impossible to say Ithink. I have 37 watchers on something at the moment but not too excited as it's happened before and I only ended up with one bid.

I agree, watchers doesn't have to mean bidders.

Thanks, I know this really through bitter experience Grin.

My DS's xbox games always have a little bidding war at the end, with usually just 3 or 4 watchers, because they all tend to place a maximum bid.

And I had a strange one with a bra - again, just 3 bidders.

I think if you have as many as five watchers, you'd be unlucky not to get a bid. But there's no cast iron guarantee - and as for a bidding war, I don't know - maybe seven, eight or nine watchers could reasonably get your hopes up (only to dash them again, but that's life!)

I don't think the amount of watchers always makes a difference, all depends on what you are selling and if someone wants it, or hopefully lots want it and will bid against each other.
