It sems that postage costs have gone ridiculously high (with RM, not sellers) I sold a lightweight sleevelss jumper, which i sold the smaller size of last year. I checked back on ym receipts and noticed that it cost £2.25 to send second class recorded. The one i posted today, same thing, style etc, same packing used - £4.25 to send 2nd class recorded! Shock

4.25 does not add up because second class parcels under 750g cost 2.20 and upto 1kg cost 3.50 signed for is 95p extra so would be either 3.15 or 4.45 , if 1st class signed for would have cost 3.65and 5.25 respectively

It's disgusting isn't it. I sell crafting items which tend to be lightweight, but if they are larger than 1" they have to go packet - so I end up sending a 50g item at £2.20. International postage has also gone up considerably.

Since the price hike, my DSR for P&P charges has suffered and I think it's becuase people who only send the odd letter don't realise how much postage actually is. If I stick a stamp on I write the cost of it just above the stamp -so people may realise how much it actually cost me to send.
