Buy it NOw Question

I have put a car seat on auction with a start price of £5.00
I have been asked a question... " How much would you sell it for as a Buy it now".

Does the mumsnet panel think I should entertain this suggestion? If so, how do I introduce Buy it Now into an auction which is already up and running .

( I have no bids so far, 2 watchers, auction ends in 6 days)

The general advice has always been to stick it out as an auction.

it is up to you whether you want to end early with a buy it now - I guess it depends what price they are willing to offer. Look at the same item on completed listings to get an idea of your target price I reckon.

I got asked that question recently on a nice popular French connection dress, buyer wrote she loved it and how much would I want as a buy it now.... I gave a ridiculous price on the off chance..... Never heard back from her Grin

Thanks.. I reckon I will ask for £20.00... If he is still interested, do I have to cancel the auction and reset it up as a BIN?

you can just add the buy it now option if there are no bids placed.
