How to end an item?

I've listed an item on ebay and also on Preloved. I've now agreed a sale via Preloved and want to end the auction on Ebay. I only listed it last night, so there are still 6days and 7 hours or whatever to go, there are watchers but noone has bid yet.

I've just tried to end it (highlighted it on my selling list and clicked on End) but its saying this feature isn't available as its an auction style format. Anyone know how I can end it? I can revise the listing I suppose to delete all the wording and just put this item is sold, but worried about leaving it up on Ebay as for sale and being obliged to sell it.

Any advice welcome.

I just ended a few items I had listed as auctions. If you find the item you want to end there is a column on the far right called 'Actions' click on the drop down option 'more actions' it should say 'End Item'

as muddy rocker says very easy, click on end item say no longer available and that is it if no bidders

if bidders can still be done though bad form, can not end in last 12 hours, ( well you can if item breaks but you have to inform all bidders about this)

ending listings early is quite common for large collection only items and especially cars, van lawnmoewers big furniture
