hi

i sold a small item (2x10 packs of bibs) to a buyer on saturday before last, she emailed for a combined postage invoice which i did sunday morning, then didn't hear from her for days, thursday i emailed and requested payment, she said she would pay that night but she didn't, then on monday just gone i emailed again, she said sorry there was a problem with the bank and she would pay which she finally did.

personally i think if there was a problem with the bank she should have let me know. without that info, im left feeling annoyed that she took over a week to pay for such a small value item.

its not the money itself that was annoying, it's the extra trip to the post office becase i couldn't post with the other items i had sold at the same time.

wwyd?

many thanks

As a seller you can't leave negative feedback. I think you could have opened a non paying bidder claim after 4 days so that might be something to do in future if this happens again?

I don't understand the question. You can't leave a buyer negative feedback.

oh i didn't know that, i know you can leave feedback for buyers i didn't know you couldn't leave negative feedback. so should i jst put something in the comments box (i'm presuming that's still there?- off now to check!)

oh how odd, ive jst checked and as a seller you can leave positive feedback or not at all, and you can't leave comments. what's teh point in that??

Because the buyers contract is just paying for item, ie they either pay or they don't !

if you leave a neg statement on positive rating for a buyer it can be removed and you will get your knuckles rapped

Just open a non paying bidder case, close in 4 days then you get your fees back and the buyer cannot leave you any feedback at all

then you can relist and move on.
