I not sure what to do, there is no return address on the jiffy bag,

today I received three packages, I'm expecting quite a few more, one of the packages had a very nice jumper in it,

I haven't ordered any, not even a size relevant to anyone in this house,

one of the packages I was expecting which had an item for DD, has similar tissue paper packaging inside the envelope,

Help,what do I do?

Do I have to contact all the people I am expecting packages from and ask if they have sent a jump instead of the items I ordered,

or has someone who has sent me a package today or sometime in the last few days, sent me an extra one by mistake,

So expert ebayers what does one do in these situations?

If this was me I would contact the seller if you suspect it is from them (same packaging). As a seller I would be happy to refund your postage costs if you were to return it to me so I could send it on (and kick myself for putting the wrong address on!).

Wot Happiest said - make sure they can describe the item though before sending.

wow you were fast, thanks,

the writing on one package is in capitals and not on the other, it could be from the same person but it's hard to tell,

and the tissue paper is different colours, is tissue paper common addition?

very new to all this, so thanks for your help,

off to email first suspect,

I really hope it's not a mix up with the parcels I am expecting.

Have a look at the completed items of the sellers you are expecting parcels from and see if you can spot the jumper!

I bet you have got someone else's parcel and they have your item

the seller could send you an SAE to return it to them

If you use goofbay you can put in the seller's id and see what they have sold and hopefully identify your item

fergoose you are genius, I have sent her a message to see what she wants me to do,

Hopefully they haven't gone away on holiday, the other buyer who might have my parcel has done quite well out of it, I hope they give it back.

thanks for all the help, I've been learning a lot.

v welcome - you may find the seller will send you an SAE with the new buyer's address on it for you to forward on to them - of course you receiving your item also depends on other recipient's honesty.

If it does go pearshaped you can open a not received dispute to get a refund for your item - but hopefully it won't come to that. ;)
