I brought some chicken hatching eggs, which were advertised as fresh and fertile. I have now discovered they were neither fresh and partially incubated, resulting in leaking smelly useless eggs after placing in my incubator after a few hours.
I have been left with 3 utterly distraught children, this was there summer hol project and a rather smelly house < boak>
After several curtious email on my side, he has accused me a lying and even when I offered him photographic evidence, he said, I would just falsify!
I think I'm in my rights to recive a full refund, and have offered to accept cost of polistirine casing, that he said cost him £1! Even offered that we split the difference of the postage. But no.
I have said I would open a dispute and he has said eBay will side with him.
His ad said returns accepted, but. Can't send exploded rottern eggs in the post, and I don't think I should have to pay to send the casing back. He did offer to replace the eggs, but I don't want to end up it the same situ and said, I must stump up another £5.90 for p&p, which as time a tight, I can't afford.
He has told me I'm not as knowledgable as him.
I feel as he has not provided what he advertised, and this is his fault.
Should I accept a partial refund and that would mean I can't replace with another sellers product or should I open a case?
He is threatening to give me bad feedback, but won't tell me on what grounds.
Mine is 100% pos and his is only 96% positive.
