Buyer not paid what to do?

I have sold an item on eBay and the buyer has not responded to pay. It was over a day ago - how fast do people have to pay? I always pay at once so I can't understand it. Should I send them an email ? Thanks

A day? They have 7 days to pay, you can open an unpaid case on day 4. I don't think you should start emailing after just 1 day.

I am in the same boat. I sold an item via "buy-it-now" and I am shocked that the buyer has not paid :(

On the payment section when listing an item you can tick a box to "require instant payment" with a buy it now item.
I only leave this box unticked if it is a multiple variation listing where a buyer may want two or three of an item in different colours or sizes.

They have paid now:)
