Just a tip off, but maternity wear, particularly dresses, coats and jeans/dungarees are selling really well at the moment. I haven't had a maternity listing for any of the above that hasn't sold in the last 2 months, and it's fetching fairly decent prices too.

That's interesting. I am finding that good quality (expensive brands) women's clothing and shoes are going for quite high prices.

RecursiveMoon · 10/07/2012 21:01

My maternity clothes aren't selling! Well, one top did, but the buyer hasn't bloody paid yet.

Babylon1 · 10/07/2012 21:34

I've had over £80 on a coat and 3 dresses in last 24 hours and another dress finishing soon with 52 watchers on and 27 bids Shock

Not special dresses either, just dressed Confused

I have a random dress that is doing well too - 36 watchers and 43 bids. All buyers with good feedback too. Some of my other stuff is doing terribly though so it is balancing out.

Babylon1 · 13/07/2012 21:27

I've cleared £180 this week selling my unwanted crap old stuff Grin

Oh good, glad to hear this, I've got some lovely jane norman skirts and monsoon skirts and tops to sell, are these things selling well?

RecursiveMoon · 16/07/2012 20:25

I'm finding the same as JamNan - high end high street women's clothes and shoes are selling well.

Babylon1 · 16/07/2012 21:33

I've got some irregular choice and poetic licence shoes on at the moment - they're not doing as well as I'd hoped, but i think that might be because my start price is too high in the first place.

I've no doubt I will get more than the start price, but I think bidders like the low priced stuff early on and the bidding wars Grin

My maternity stuff is still flying out though, and lingerie (BNWT) I was expecting 99p sales all the way through, but some stuff is reaching higher prices than I originally paid Blush

I'm not complaining mind, but I do feel a bit guilty when it goes above the original price. Smile

Babylon1 · 16/07/2012 21:46

My ASOS Maternity dresses are not selling :(

milk · 17/07/2012 08:38

They are on "buy-it-now" for £10 each... do you think that is too much?

LineRunnerSpartanNaked · 29/07/2012 21:05

Bras. Bras and knickers. Any lingerie.

Often to chaps.

DanyTargaryen · 29/07/2012 21:24

Can't manage to sell my pram on there though. Anyone want to buy a mamas and papas pliko switch by any chance? Two years old and in good condition :o

(Sorry Blush)

DanyTargaryen · 29/07/2012 22:19

Killed the thread a bit I think. Oops.

HoneyDragonSponseredByCocaCola · 29/07/2012 22:21

Danny have you put postage on it?

DanyTargaryen · 29/07/2012 22:28

No, done collection only. Why?

HoneyDragonSponseredByCocaCola · 29/07/2012 22:30

If you are prepared to pack it and send it via courier, pushchairs always sell much better. Shouldn't cost you more than £20.00 to post a Switch.

DanyTargaryen · 29/07/2012 22:31

It's unfortunetly £20 more than I have. Hence why I'm selling :(

Babylon1 · 29/07/2012 22:34

I've got car parts and bedroom furniture going mad right now and there's a big Market for xxl men's clothing too (excuse the pun) my friend gave me a load of stuff she'd sorted out for charity and said if I'd got time, then eBay it and enjoy the proceeds Grin

Wedding hats, fascinators, xxl and xxxl mens clothing - all going really well Smile

OP posts:
newbiebaby · 29/07/2012 22:34

Add the postage on separately??

HoneyDragonSponseredByCocaCola · 29/07/2012 22:38

But buyer pays the postage Confused

DanyTargaryen · 29/07/2012 22:57

My paypal doesnt let me access funds immediately due to me being a new seller on ebay.

Babylon1 · 29/07/2012 23:00

You cam either add the price of the courier to the sale price and send an invoice through paypal OR you can tell the buyer you are happy to wrap and pack for a fee, BUT they must arrange their own courierSmile
