Collection only item - PayPal or cash?

Hello peeps, quick question for you. Am selling a collection only item at the mo, but unsure if PayPal or cash on collection best? The reason I ask is I vaguely remember hearing something about buyers who pay with PayPal collecting, then starting a claim stating item not received.

Is this true or am I going bonkers and worrying over nothing?!

Do not do PayPal with a collection item.

You are right there is a risk.

It goes like this - they pay with paypal, collect and then file a dispute for non receipt and because there is no trackable delivery record they get the paypal payment refunded so you end up with no item and no money.

Ah, I'm not bonkers then! Thanks muchly idontdo, I will amend listing to cash on collection only.

Now, if only someone would bid on the damn thing...
