Faulty or my fault?

Bought a bag on ebay which arrived quickly and appeared to be fine, so I left feedback stating this.

After using it twice, bloody thing broke, strap falling off one one side and starting to come off on the other. Was supposed to be a Karen Millen in "really good condition, used four times".
When I contacted the seller they declined to refund saying basically not their problem and I had left positive feedback so had no comeback.

So, is this my fault for buying of ebay or do I have a leg to stand on regarding a refund? Sorry I very use it so not sure if it's a daft question or not.

How long ago did you buy it? I think you have 45 days to raise a claim with ebay regardless of a sellers snotty attitude. Might even be 60 days.

Thanks, I bought it about a week ago so still in time but was just wondering if it's a valid dispute or whether it's like a car boot sale type of thing where you get what you get.
Paid £40 + postage so am a bit annoyed.

Raise a dispute with ebay - they'll almost certainly side with you and you can return it (at her cost) and get a full refund. Don't return it until they say so - she's talking bollocks about feedback being an issue :)

Thank you GoOn. Will persevere!
