buyer didnt collect

Hi, I don't do much selling on eBay but I listed a bed frame at the weekend and also put a buy it now option on it. Anyway it had 21 watchers when someone bought it on the buy it now. We arranged cash on collection yesterday and he didn't turn up. I emailed him last night asking him to arrange another day and time, I havent heard back yet. What should I do? Ive never been in this position before.

What a pain. You will have to wait a bit longer I think then you will be able to send the second highest bidder an offer to buy it for whatever they offered.

It didn't have any bids on it as he bought it on the buy it now. It was due to end on Friday. Im so annoyed about it, will email again this morning and see if I get a reply. Thanks

Oh sorry . Yes I think you will just have to wait it out and then relist it if he ignores you. You can ask eBay for your fees back though. Have you looked at his feedback?

On day 4 open a non paying bidder dispute, then if they don't pay in a further 4 days you close the case, get your fees back and only then can you relist.

If you don't do this you risk 2 buyers and only 1 item.

Just an update, the buyer came on Thursday, has paid, I have left feedback but he has not left me feedback, should I email him to ask if he is happy with it, being as he has not left feedback?

no don't ask for feedback - many folk never bother to leave any, and if you ask for it you risk causing offence. It is voluntary after all.
