Auction with a bin. I think there traders too. I've got them saved for if they sell it on

2 options...

1. accept it
2. "I'm so sorry, I got it out to pack and dropped it.. I'm so sorry, of course I will refund your paypal"..... wait a while and relist. Maybe not ethical, but hardly crime of the century.

Thing is if you do say that the item is 'broken' and refund, you will still be left with fees, unless the buyer agrees to a mutual cancellation, and they certainly don't have to. They can also leave negative feedback.

If they are traders, and they resell it, they're not breaking any rules.

It's always better to have a starting price you'd be happy to sell at, than a low one, as you always risk the item being sold for a low amount. Or only have a BIN, then you can consider offers.

But so what if they are traders? Buy low, sell high, that is how trading works. They paid what you asked to buy it now so they've not done anything wrong.

I'm going to suck it up. Lesson learned. I got half back what I paid for it and I've worn it.

Half your money back for a worn item is fine. I could cry the number of times I have sold BNWT items for 99p.

I usually wait until those free listing week-ends then list at a fairly decent price rather than list anything for 99p in the hope that there's a few people interested in stuff who will bid against each other.
