Irritated by stars feedback

Had a positive overall on feedback for a vintage toy item, but was given very low star rating for P&P and delivery time - P&P was spot on what I charged and I sent out within the three working days I stated I would. Why would they mark me down? Why! Sods. They've ruined my McDonald's star ratings.

Disclaimer: am new to Ebay selling and still in the throes of it being a novelty, so know I am being precious really. Just wanted to moan/rant

It is possible to have star ratings removed if they contradict feedback left - contact Ebay Customer Support and ask them to look at it for you.

I recently had one which went along the lines of "Excellent, as described, fast delivery, P&P spot on". Then they left me 1 star right the way through. I called Ebay and they agreed that the DSR rating was malicious and so they deleted it.

You are not being precious - you deserve the correct ratings for the service you provided.

I often buy on ebay, not many autions mainly buy it now things. I give 5 stars if it was sent out the next working day, 4 if it was sent out within the time frame set (ie 3 working days as yours says OP), 3 if it was 1 day late, 2 if it was a couple of days late and 1 if I had to chase it up (only happened once, it was sent out 2 weeks after I paid via paypal). I know as a seller you have however many days you say you will to send it out, but as a buyer I wouldn't expect you to send it out the next day or even that day if I paid for it early enough, but 5 stars is for very quickly which I would only class as being the next working day. I think 3 working days is good, but not excellent.

Thank you 80sBabe - you are a genius I contacted Ebay support as you suggested and they agreed to remove the ratings as it met their criteria for removal under feedback manipulation.

Thank you as well FartBlossom. A four star rating I would swallow, this buyer gave me a 1 or 2 though, which was totally uncalled for. Am very glad that Ebay agreed with me
