PayPal - Unclaimed

Hi, hoping you clever ebayers can advise.

I won a bid yesterday and paid immediatley by paypal - as advised on the listing. I have an eggtimer on my purchase history so I had a look on paypal and it said the payment is unclaimed.

That means (according to paypal) that the seller either hasn't got a paypal account or is only allowed so many transactions, or has refused my payment????

I have the option to cancel it through paypal, or if it remains unclaimed it will cancel automatically after 30 days. But whats going on?

The item only went for 99p, with £7 postage. I won't be heart broken if I don't get it - its a blind for my rental house. Just a bit annoyed, especially if the sellar is refusuing the payment because it went for next to nothing Hmm.

seller has put in wrong email address - you need to tell them to accept the payment by adding that email address to their paypal account

I was in the same situation, emailed the seller, who said 'dont worry, got the payment' Hmm. Just got the unclaimed payment returned to me by paypal, but I received my item ages ago!

Thats interesting. The seller had emailed me direct thanking me for my payment and the next day saying she has sent them out. I hadn't checked my email before I posted here!

I have emailed her back and asked her to double check and told her about the email address.

I wonder if I leave it now it will refund me after the 30 days?? We shall see Smile

This is happening to me at the mo and I told the seller this morning to check her account. She's replied saying eBay have to told her to tell me to send it to the correct email account- .co.uk and not .com.
I've gone to do this but the only way I can do it is by sending money for goods.
Is this right or should she be sorting it?
Thanks
