Buy it now?

Last question from me today I promise! I have been asked if I would do a buy it now for an item - am not sure how much I am likely to get - similar items in the past have gone for slightly higher than i've been offered but not by very much. If i was to accept their offer, how do I arrange a BIN? Would I incur extra ebay charges for changing the listing from auction to BIN?

Thank you as ever..

I never know why people ask that - I just say they have to go with the auction - I want to get as much as possible. Therefore I don't know the answer but it will be somewhere on the website.

It is up to you if you want to add a buy it now price - if you want to add it you can only do it if there are no bids.

Many sellers refuse and prefer to leave the auction to run, worth asking what the buyer wants to pay I guess, but your choice. Some buyers offer a ridiculous low amount as they want to get a bargain of course.

You could look at completed auctions for same item & see how much people actually got, decide a fair price on that basis. Auctions usually result in higher final sale price, but not always.
