As a first time seller

I have about 70 items to sell, can i sell that much as a first time seller?

I thought the limit was 100 items a month... I probably might be wrong though.

It will give you a limit to what you can sell. If i remember right its a set amount of money or items and it goes by which you use the fastest, i.e your limit is £20 or you can sell 5 items. You sell 1 thing for £15 and another for £5 that means you cant sell anything else. I do think you can contact ebay and ask them to increase your limits though

100 items is generally considered enough for private seller, certianly after 100 there is no free listing even at 99p

a new seller will have a much lower limit probably 10 items a month so if you list 10 and 5 sell then you can list another 5 that month, there will also be a financial limit too which is quite low £50-100

so list 10 then you will probably be blocked after a month with good feedback you cna request new limit would probably at least double to 20 items,

to make sure you get good feedback, mention any faults but preferably to start with only sell good stuff, keep postal charges as low as possible and post quickly if you only post fridays dont list to finish sunday night and expect people to wait 5 days before you post, even for private sellers i really think you need to post within 2 working days

as new seller paypal may well retain money for 21 days to make sure you don't to a runner with money and not deliver the goods so budget for that

you need to sell a few cheap things to get some feedback, low feedback means low sales prices.
