Following on from my earlier thread, I sold a pair of kids shoes on 25th May.

I got a story about bank cards being stolen and that it would definitely be paid.

Still not paid after 4 days so opened a NPB case.

I then contacted the buyer and said they would need to pay.

They told me that they would pay on Monday when they got the cards - so I said it was a bank holiday and there would be no post. So they said Tuesday - still I replied bank holiday and no post. So they said Wednesday. I resent an invoice asking for payment by today (thursday) Nothing has been received yet. Do I cancel the sale and relist?

TIA

if you have opened a non paying case you can close it 4 days later, and they get a strike and you get your fees back

then you can relist

how long ago did you open the case?

hi

the case was opened on 29th May

But have given some leeway due to the bank holidays

It is ridiculous getting isn't it?

They purchased something on 2 June and it has been paid for and feedback left.

sorry - feedback has been left on 2 june for a purchase so could have been made at any time

Well I would close the case - tick the box saying you haven't been paid, and they will get a strike. Then you can relist.
