When to leave feedback as a Seller

I've done a very unscientific survey over the last 3 free listing weekends. On the first two I sold 8 and 12 items respectively. Once I had posted the items I immediately left positive feedback for the buyers. In each case I got 2 - 3 positive feedback, I never heard from the rest so presume all was in order. On the 3rd weekend I held off leaving the feedback until I heard back from the buyers and lo and behold I've already received 12 out of 14. I'll be doing it this way in future methinks!

Hi,

I run an ebay shop with over 25000 feedback, on this account it is set up to leave feedback as soon as an buyer pays (as it is easier with 100 sales per day) and we have no probs. On my personal account I always wait till I have recieved feedback before leaving it for the buyer. I found exactly what you say to be true, Once buyers have their feedback they just forget or dont bother leaving it for the seller. I would stick to waiting till you have recived feedback before You leave it :)

thanks Angel, what your saying makes perfect sense. Feedback (positive of course!) is important to me on the scale I'm selling. I have to say I was a bit shocked at the results of my trial! :)
