How long do I wait up for?

Buyer said they would collect after 5pm today and text me when they're on their way. I have emailed them to ask what time they're likely to turn up but I haven't got their mobile number.

When would you give up waiting and go to bed? I'm knackered and was hoping for an early night.

I would expect them before 9pm out of courtesy. Acutally, earlier than that. 8pm.

We had someone turn up at half past 11 at night last month - luckily DH was still up

8.30 I was just happy to get rid of the stuff! Ds ruined my early night plans anyway.
