buyer not recieved item

hi,

i sold a baby suit on ebay for 99p plus £4 postage to france. i sent the item on 8th may by small airmail packets and buyer has not recieved the item. i went to the post office and they say they can't do anything to the beginning of june and then if they still haven't recieved it i can claim back, but on the form it says i can't claim postage back as it was not recorded internation delivery. i was just going to refund the seller and then claim back as not much she can do from france!

so do i have to refund the 99p only or 99p + £4 delivery? i've never had an item not arrive so not sure what to do! i have a proof of postage form only.

you have to log into paypal, click on their payment then scroll down and hit refund - and you do need to refund the full amount of £4.99

Only been 15 days though, and that is calendar days not working, so prob bit early to refund

post office not refunding you? Am not sure that is correct, I would try and claim with them for lost item.

thank you! it says on the form they only refund postage costs for priority international services-airsure and international signed for so will have to pay for something they lost! oh well lesson learnt. :(

postoffice will refund the 99p in stamps but not postage cost

you need 20 working days for international mail before you can claim
