I know it's not eBay sorry!
I'm listing all my old CDs on Amazon and I've got this Single to put on. It's not sold by Amazon but there are 2 listed as New by the same company. The price is £189.99 Shock

I don't want that for it (well i do! But i dont expect it iyswim) but I don't know what to charge now for fear of enraging the other guy selling it

WWYD or have you done in the past in this situation?

The price is probably not £189.99, but he has run out of stock and doesn't want to cancel his listing. Check on eBay to see what it is selling for before setting your price. You will probably sell quite quickly if you have no competition, so set it at a reasonable level (compared to eBay) and you can lower your price in a week or two if it doesn't sell.

Thanks :) I looked on eBay and it's not on there (I have peculiar taste Grin) so I think I'll have to just take a guess

Hmm - maybe you should put it up for auction on eBay and if you have enough (i.e. 2 or more) bidders it will find its price. It is free-listing this weekend so you won't lose anything. Or, start high on Amazon and reduce it every few days until you sell. :)

What's the single?

It doesn't seem like he's run out of stock if there are two listed. Amazon take quite a lot of money, but you can just leave it up there as long as you like and don't have to keep relisting. Just put it on at a high price you feel comfortable with and if it doesn't sell you can change the price later. Don't worry about enraging the other seller - that's the free market and it's not like you've gone into production, it's one item
