Grrrrr seller refusing refund what do I do?

I am so wound up about this. Bought a dress (not cheap) on ebay, described as worn once, perfect condition. It arrived with (admittedly small) stain on the front, but nonetheless a stain which I noticed.

I contacted seller, who asked me to email photo of stain. She is claiming she can't see it when to me it's quite clear!

She is saying she would expect a buyer to wash the item before wearing but surely that's not the point?! IN any case it's dry clean only & would cost £19 to dry clean (& no guarantee stain will come out).

I am so pissed off. OK I can leave negative comment but I'm still stuck with the FING dress. I really have not time for this shit either.

Am so wound up I need a glass of wine! So unfair because I bought it for my sister's wedding and am really disappointed

If seller will not refund then just open a dispute through e-bay as 'item not as described' in 14 days ebay will very likely refund you the full amount plus postage and you will probably get to keep the dress.

You could do. Personally if she has already flat out refused I would just open a dispute, she is in the wrong and should know better.

if you open a dispute and tick the box other then write next to it refund then eBay should refund you themselves without the need for a return

Otherwise you will probably be asked to prove you have sent it back at your expense with a tracking number
