I've put PAYPAL but they want to pay cash

I've just sold some garden furniture

The buyer is coming with a van on Saturday, and wondered if he could bring cash instead of paying via paypal, which my item had as payment.

Is this OK to do? Will the ebay system be expecting the transaction to close with him paying paypal?

Some advice to put my mind at rest would be appreciated! Thanks.

It's fine to pay cash on collection, I've done this. Just mark as dispatched when it's been collected.

Cash is better if they collect. If they pay via pay pal they can claim the money back if there's a problem. If it's cash then you have better protection as it's sold as seen.

No fees with cash either!

Once he has collected, you can mark the item as paid and despatched in your 'sold' section which will close the transaction.

CASH ONLY for collection items always never paypal if they pay by paypal refund and ask for cash on collection as mutt said no receipt will count so don't go there
