courier - how? Argh!

I need to send something heavy so planned it would be by courier, however all the ones I can find online require the buyers phone number to deliver.
Is there any way round this as I'll have to ask the buyer for their number & hope they don't mind, plus the inevitable delay whilst they get back to me? Can't send via Royal mail as its much too expensive. Bah, getting annoyed now!

parcel2go don;t require it, it is useful so if courier can not find address or they are out they can call them

neither to myhermes or yodel or collect+

this is cheeky but just put in your own mobile number for both
