How long to wait for payment?

I sold a whole load of stuff last week in the free listing weekend

However one item still hasn't been paid for even though it finished on the 2nd of May, I have sent the invoice twice and heard nothing. I am not sure what to do now, shall I send another invoice, do I contact the buyer and suggest they pay up now or do I just open an non payment?

i usually contact the buyer a couple of days after they have won the item giving them a gentle reminder, a day or two after that i send them another email reminding them again saying if they dont pay within another day or two i am contacting ebay to report them. i currently have one item where the buyer has yet to pay and i have a feeling i am gonna have to chase them.

i always give them at least a week in total in case they have gone on holiday for a week without realising they'd be away (cos i have done it before!)

Thanks, I have sent the original invoice, another invoice on saturday or sunday and then again today with a note asking how they wanted to progress with the sale, if I haven't heard anything by Thursday I will open an unpaid case as that will have given them 48 hours to respond to my question and 3rd invoice, its irritating though as for me it isn't just a quick hop and a jump to my local post office. It entails a 15 minute drive and child juggling :)! Thats why I like people to all pay at the same time
