i apologise if this has already been asked,could you still help me though please?
i have some things i would like to sell on there but the explanation about fees has me !! i can understand having to pay an insertion fee but does this include postage costs??? hand does this price include cost of the photo??

Your question isn't very clear. You have to pay an insertion fee, this varies according to the price you start your auction at. The first picture is free in most, possibly all categories - and in clothing for example, all 12 pics are free.

As for postage, you add that to the listing, buyers pay the postage not you. There is a section for that.

insertion fees are free if 99p or under 15p upto £4,99 ( less for books)
extra photos 12p but free in clothes and home and garden and if selling a car

6p extra to schedule a convienet listing time ie you list them at 2pm because you are free but time them to start at 8pm

don't fsll into trap of listing everything at 99p unless prepared to sell for 99p

there is a free listing weekend at least once at month at any starting price

you pay 10% of final sale price to ebay

you pay 3.4% plus 20p to paypal on total ie sale plus postal charge

add a small amount for packing but be reasonable if it goes in a bag 30p if a box with bubble wrap 50p -£1 depending on size

don't overcharge on postage weigh stuff and packaging before lisitng

people will not buy your stuff or will pay less for it; if you charge extra 95p for signed for on low value ( under £10 ) items signed for costs them 95p but benefits them nothing
