Selling suits on ebay

my husband has several custom made suits that he no longer fits into and which we want to sell on ebay. Because they are tailored to him, they don't come with bog standard measurements sewn into the lapel. As he is no longer the same size, I can't just use his normal measurements. Does anyone have any tips on how to measure a suit to give buyers an idea as to what size it is?

I think you'd need to measure the collar size, the chest armpit to armpit, the back panel, the waist circumference, the inside leg, ... everything you can think of really.

all of the above and sleeve length

Thanks - so do you just lie it flat and measure it that way?

yes Lay it flat and measure it. You might want to consider measuring the jacket from shoulder to hem too as some people have short bodies and longer legs etc (like me Smile)
