'One size' item that wasn't really

I bought a dress from eBay that was described as 'one size'. It has an elasticated back so it does have some give.

Thing is, I am size 14-16 and it doesn't fit me! Also, I checked the label and it is marked as a size 12.

I messaged the seller about a refund and she said that it was sold to her as one size, and she can fit it (size 10) and her mum can fit it (size 14) so that makes it one size. As to the label, she said that didn't mean anything because it was vintage so sizing is different now.

I messaged back saying that she should've put some sizing parameters in and also stated that she should've mentionedi n the listing that the label said size 12. She hasn't replied. I sent her another message asking if she'd received the first message and no reply to that, either. I know she's been online because she keeps listing new items.

So who is right? And what's the next move? The dress was £13 so not the end of the world but I'm a bit indignant I can't get into it - would never have bid on it if I knew the label said size 12.

Thanks, sorry this is so long...

Just to make it clear, I stated in each message that I would like a refund.

If i were you i would just re list it myself Smile

Yes I did think about that but am a bit annoyed that the seller is refusing to acknowledge me! Do you think I should just relist it and then give her negative feedback?

You can open a not as described case and get your money refunded and then of course leave appropriate feedback and stars

Yes open a case and send it back.

When you send it back you will get a refund from eBay if the seller doesn't comply you just won't get a refund for the return postage unfortunately.

She's clearly ignoring you on purpose.
