negative feedback received- what do I do?

Until this morning, I have had 100% positive feedback score on Ebay, as a buyer and a seller. I recently sold an item, it took the buyer three days to pay for it. The advert stated (as all my items do) that it would be posted 2-3 days after payment was received. The payment was made on April 23rd- three days ago. Due to having been at work for the last two days, I posted the item this morning. I've just logged onto Ebay to find that the buyer has left me negative feedback, as 'delivery was very slow.' I've replied to the feedback, saying that payment took three days to receive, and item was posted 3 days after payment was received, but is there anything else I can do? Can't leave negative feedback for the buyer! Argh!

So they haven't received it yet but left feedback?

I think I'd have made sure they hadn't left it in error but not sure now how it could be deleted

Nothing you can do as it doesn't break any rules. Just a calm measured response then move on is my advice.

Unless the buyer did leave it in error?

Don't leave a neg comment for the buyer on a positive rating as that is not allowed.
