Which address to send to..?? Help!

I've sold an item of clothing on Ebay. Buyer paid straight away but the address on the Paypal confirmation email is not the same as the address on the Ebay confirmation email.

Auction finished last night, i messaged buyer soon after close of sale to explain/ask them which address to post to but have had no reply. Item is ready to go - which address should i use and how long do i wait for a reply??

Any help gratefully received!! bit of a novice

I would say eBay address, but only because I recently bought something & didn't realise my paypal address hadn't been updated in our move. I emailed the seller & she said she always ignored the paypal address as they are frequently wrong.

paypal address otherwise you lose all seller protection - also send recorded if it is any value so you can prove delivery.

Always worth checking with buyer - but you should only send to paypal address - no exceptions so if it is wrong you need to refund, buyer needs to add right address to paypal and then re-pay you.

Make sure the address is marked as "confirmed" before you send it. This could be a fraud. We "lost" a mobile phone that way. The person "paid" with paypal straight away and I posted it. Paypal then took back the money (which they can do up to 6 months after the transaction - check the terms!). Presumably they'd used someone else's paypal account.

Had to fill in police reports but not sure what eventual outcome was in our case.

God, I'd never considered the fraud aspects!!

The paypal address says confirmed in green - so should i post to this one?

I've messaged them again, but still no reply. I'm wondering how long to wait...It's delaying the process and i'm worried about getting negative feedback for waiting too long.

Thanks for your very helpful replies!

yes always send to paypal address and if of any value send with a signature so you are covered by seller protection.

There's a "contact ebay" option if you suspect fraud (in my ebay somewhere). It is a bit suspicious that they're not responding to you but then they might not be able to get online. Definitely send to the paypal address then even if they've used someone else's paypal account you're covered. In this case I'd definitely send it recorded delivery so you get a signature when it arrives and they can't claim it hasn't.
