wwyd buyer sent cheque but i've not received

basically as above, buyer won item & said she'd send cheque. She marked her account as payment sent. Two weeks later no chq even though have e-mailed her twice since.Stupidly i sent item to her b4 chq arrived as she sent me several 'genuine' e-mails to say she'd posted chq HELP should i open a case?

open a non paying bidder dispute to give the buyer a strike

Unless the item is of any value there is not much you can do - but if it is an amount then small claims

And golden rule - never send item before payment I guess
