Only just started to think about how I'm going to pack up all of my listings!

Most will be fine in the plastic bags that I've bought for the job, but there's one cot mobile that isn't boxed and could get broken in the post Confused

I have weighed everything but hadn't factored in any extra packaging into the p+p costs Blush - I'm new to this!

Think I'll see if I can find some thick cardboard to protect it.

shoe shops will often give you boxes if you ask

Oh that's a good idea - I did a Blue Peter job making a box out of a much bigger one to pack up a cot mobile.

Doesn't look the best but I'm sure they won't mind as long as it arrives safely.

Shoe shops or if not Wilkos sell boxes reasonably cheap to post things in. I've used this method before when I couldn't find a box suitable (obviously though you need to be careful not to end up out of pocket - I've only done this when I've sold things for a decent price)

if you go to supermarket and find a shelf stacker they will give you the folded boxes cardboard for nothing, just need to get to boxes before trashed

shops have to pay to have rubbish removed so are generally happy for you to have boxes

cot mobile will be best in a box

if your packaging/postal charges are too low its tough i'm afraid and down to experience,

We did manage to get some cardboard and packaged everything up safely.

I think that we did underestimate postage on a couple of things, but tbh they were the bigger items. I was just keen to get rid of them rather than them ending up in the skip, so losing a small amount on postage but making an overall profit was preferable to not getting any bids due to the p+p costs. It was worth it in the end I think!
