Posting to Indonesia?

I am relatively new to Ebaying and have never posted abroad before! I usually restrict to UK bidders only but have had a message asking me if I will post to Indonesia and to change my restrictions accordingly. Is this a good idea or is it a bit of a pain?

I wouldn't. If there is any dispute over the item you will lose out.

Sorry to be a bit thick - but what sort of dispute could there be (or do you mean him not getting it?) and how would I lose out? I wouldn't send it until he has paid obviously. Thank you!

Well say you sent it, then they either said it didn't turn up or it was faulty, not as described. The open a dispute with ebay/paypal, get refunded, and you lose out on the item and the money it cost you to post it.

Oh that doesn't sound good. Would they automatically believe him and refund cost and postage then?

dp sends there alot, but insists on international signed for (about £8 more) but a must

Oh and does it usually go ok? Am undecided - torn between not losing a sale and stressing about potential problems Confused
