I put uk posting on my eBay listing. The bidder who has just bought it is in Germany. They didn't contact me to ask if I would post it outside uk - what should I do? Thanks

adjust your settings to stop future buyers from abroad - you have to physically stop them from bidding

Thanks - does that mean for this sale I have to post it and lose out on postage?

it depends if you want to send it - previously when this has happened i have just emailed them and said the advert said UK only. Then refund if they have paid.

When you invoice change the postage accordingly if you do want to go ahead - i would send registered post etc if abroad.

no you need to charge them the right postage - have they paid yet?

janx · 10/04/2012 23:09

No they haven't paid -

ok well you can either cancel the transaction or send them an invoice for the correct postage cost

but in the meantime tighten up your settings to stop future bidders from abroad
