Tickets Shock

I would absoulutely refuse to sell them to him.
Hurrah for you, for re listing :)

oh no! have only just come across this thread Sad.

i posted something on saturday to a different address provided by the buyer (sister's they said). it wasnt the address as given by paypal, there was a 'note' attached to the payment receipt asking for the item to be posted elsewhere. i did, and sent it recorded (to my cost) but didnt realise that it would leave me with no protection.

i guess its too late for me to do anything now isnt it?

fergoose · 09/04/2012 15:19

yes sadly it is too late unless your post office haven't dispatched it yet, I don't know if they would give you the item back now though.

PigletJohn · 09/04/2012 15:20

finger-crossing time.

Sparklyblue · 09/04/2012 15:46

Oh no shelley, hope everything goes ok.

me too Hmm. i didnt even realise that this kind of thing was a bit iffy - maybe im a bit too trusting. so worst case scenario, what happens - i have no recourse? bloody hell. think i am going to steer clear of ebay for a while, there is too much to learn! i really cant afford to lose that money either Sad AND ive left feedback already...

shelley72 · 09/04/2012 15:55

lo and behold, i just checked paypal and i have a red flag risk alert next to their payment. god i feel stupid

fergoose · 09/04/2012 15:59

isn't the red flag thing a glitch that has happened recently.

how much was the item?

fergoose · 09/04/2012 15:59

btw add the tracking info to the item now via eBay

shelley72 · 09/04/2012 16:07

it was £25 - but thats quite a bit to me at the moment. the item was paid for on thurs - i marked as despatched and added the RM number as soon as it was posted.

btw i seem to have to leaved feedback for people once they have bought an item, but sometimes i have nothing left for me as a seller. does this mean that service was really bad? i always try and post next day if possible, and package well

ChippingInLovesEasterEggs · 09/04/2012 16:15

Shelly - no, it doesn't mean your service is bad, it just means some people don't bother leaving feedback, it's not compulsory and many people just wont bother - don't worry about it.

I hope your transaction works out OK. I often ask for stuff to be sent to other addresses - it's often just more convenient, it doesn't mean he's necessarily a bad 'un.

shelley72 · 09/04/2012 16:25

so do i! its in progress via royal mail, but not delivered yet. email sounded so polite, and genuine. fingers crossed

Sparklyblue · 09/04/2012 17:49

Well, I've took the big fat neg on the chin Grin
He said:
Seller rather hostile in his communication. Unhelpful. Best avoided.
I'm a girl mister, lol.
I wasn't hostile at all, think he's just Angry as he has already sold them to someone else.
I replied:
Buyer a bully. Wanted me to post to unregistered address. Worried it was a scam.

Hope this is the end of it now. Bit fed up I have a neg, but i'll wear it with pride. Just hope it doesn't put any buyers off.

namechangingagain · 09/04/2012 17:57

that was a mistake, calling him a bully, should have left it at wanted me to post to an unregistered address, was worried it was a scam, makes you look unprofessional

Sparklyblue · 09/04/2012 18:20

Well he was a bully, so just stated fact, I don't think it was unprofessional, but that's just my opinion I suppose Confused

namechangingagain · 09/04/2012 19:09

Oh yes he was, but ebay dont like people leaving messages like that he will prob be able to get it removed if he complains.

Sparklyblue · 09/04/2012 19:37

Well lets hopw he dosn't then Smile
I've relisted the tickets and put him on my bloked bidders list (just incase) Grin

just an update from me - my item has been delivered today (according to RM). so do i need to do anything now? contact the buyer to say its been delivered to her sister - or not?

PigletJohn · 10/04/2012 16:31

You could email and say "I see from Royal Mail Tracking that the (thing) was delivered at 09:00 today, I hope all is well and look forward to receiving your positive feedback. Best wishes, Shelley"

fergoose · 10/04/2012 16:56

you don't need to do anything - best not ask for feedback tbh.
