Contacted requesting my best price for phone to collect - WWYD?

Listed an Iphone this evening for 7 day auction with £40 starting price. Got an e-mail from someone asking for my best price as they would like to collect it tomorrow. I have e-mailed saying price and that it would have to be cash on collection as I have heard on here about issues with chargebacks if paid via Paypal.

Would it be OK to go ahead with this if buyer agrees as looking further it looks as if it might contravene Ebay rules. Can you end an auction with a Sale price so you still pay the fees to Ebay?

Ah think I may have found the answer - add a Buy it Now price??

Write down/ take photos of serial numbers of phone you are selling. In case the later claim it didn't work to get a refund and try to give you back a phone that wasn't yours. Naughty but common. Naughty people.

doesn't buy it now have to be paid by paypal

you can change it to a buy it now or you can ask them to bid their price and then end it at that point

definitely no paypal for cash and you should be fine.
