Not strictly ebay but a paypal question....

Hi got an email today saying that a transaction on my paypal account was "under review" and to click on a link in the email to see the details. Being cynical cautious I logged in through my home page and found there was a payment from the USA for a caravan and that £200 had been transferred to my account.

Rang Paypal who told me to refund the money and message the buyer that they had sent the money to the wrong account.

Questions.....Will this be the last I hear of it, will it cost me money and is someone trying to commit fraud.

btw I haven't sold anything on ebay for almost a year.

no it won't cost you anything, just click on the payment itself in paypal, scroll down then hit refund

I guess the buyer made an error with the email address for payment?

Thanks fergoose thats what the nice lady at paypal said to do so have done. I guess its just cos you hear so many stories of frand and dodgy deals that I assumed it might be one. Cheers
