Probably a Dumb Question - But What Am I doing Wrong ??

I have sold on E-bay in the distant past, but having just listed the first item today seems its all changed or is it my memory being shite

If I search for the same thing I've listed ie, girls summer dress, my one doesn't show up in the search - is that normal?? -- I'm sure when I've sold in the past your own listings showed up in search

I've photo, title & sub title, all wording pretty simple & should show up with a girls dress search

have I done something wrong & if so what ??

I've more to list, but I'm worried I'd be wasting my time if I'm doing it wrong

Yes, it should show up in a search.

Look on My Ebay under the Selling menu and check it's in that list.

When you click on it you'll be able to check what categories you listed in.

it can take a few hours for a listing to be visible as they go in a queue to go live. did you get the email saying you had listed?

Yes I got the e-mail fergoose but it still wasn't showing up

I followed your instructions cokefan (thanks for the reminder) & despite it being there on my selling list, first off it still didn't show up, but I left it for a while & tried again & it did show up when I changed the search to "nearest", so its in there, just probably several pages down, but at least its there :)

Thinking on it, there was probably a bit of a glitch in the software last night, I also tried to add some extra photos, but it was having none of it, but I put it down to my being dozy & missing something obvious (ill at the minute, so quite likely) - tried again this morning, did exactly the same things as I did last night & it uploaded straight away with out problems :)
