..and forgot to end the auction.

I won a pram for 99p and emailed asking when was convenient to collect and if they would like pp or cash. No reply but the next day I received notification that they've opened a cancellation case saying they'd already sold it. No apology. Just a 'unfortunately..

I've declined the cancellation and paid by pp. I know I can't force them to sell it for that price but they should have put a reserve on..and I needed it too grr.

Sorry, but this happens sometimes. You shouldn't have pp'd her though.

make sure you report as non performing seller and leave feedback

I bet they relist it so keep an eye - I guess they wanted more money for it

Crazybit · 28/03/2012 14:46

But Jareh-it shouldn't happen, that's the way if ebay. And I need to pay them so I can report them I think. Had no further communication from them yet. Fergoose-theyre not new to eBay so may not..

Oh I know. I've accidentally done it before but finished the listing before it ended.

BareBums · 28/03/2012 17:17

They obviously thought people would go mad for it at 99p
But I thought unless they stated otherwise they can't just cancel it after it ends Confused

TeaTeaLotsOfTea · 31/03/2012 22:46

This has happened to me.

There was nothing I could do the seller said they sold it. just leave negative feedback

sherbetpips · 04/04/2012 12:07

ah yes - didnt achieve the price they wanted so pretended they sold it. had that done to me before. Suck it up and move on.
