Is it free listing this weekend?

I saw a flash on the ebay home page which I am sure referred to free listing, but it had refreshed onto something else almost immediately and I cannot now find it again!

It's only free if you list it from a mobile from what I understand.

I had an email to say it was free listing this weekend on items starting at £1 or more. (I think)

Have a load of shoes to list and was too lazy to do it- glad I was now!

Will check email to get correct details.

I don't think I've had an email, sometimes my ebay mail goes to Junk....

Ha! Found it. This is the message - sell through Mobile, Quick Sell or Advanced Sell...... so I can sell from my computer as normal by the sounds of it. Phew. Have quite a lot to list and shift.

"On the 24 and 25 March 2012, private sellers who list up to 100 listing(s) at a starting price from £1.00 or more in an eligible category using the auction format on eBay.co.uk, will not pay an insertion fee*.

Items are eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the eBay Mobile applications, Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms. Items listed using professional tools, such as Turbo Lister and Selling Manager Pro, are excluded.
