So decided to be organised and sell items and post in the Uk ( I am in Italy and had relation going back with empty case). I state on listings will post to UK and place UK postage costs only. I get 1 req for international postage via messages so reply with cost - to have proof of postage or signed for from here is expensive hence doing this all from the UK.
State all items going to the Uk on X date . SO i get 2 items purchased by foreign buyers who have not yet paid I sent invoice with the foreign postage. ( so don't know whether to send to the Uk etc.) Arrggghhhh well lesson learned next time will put on here as free for postage! Oh and I still have 1 item that had 15 watchers that has not paid. Hats off to those of you who do this regularly.

Morning lovely!

If I am setting up the auction in Italy, but the stuff will be sent from my Mum's, then I don't even mention Italy or that the stuff will be sent by someone else etc. I think tbh, that would put me off. At Christmas I timed my auctions off dd's tat precious toys to end on the day I flew back, (so I knew what to put in the case and what to leave) and then posted as and when I got paid.

I would def send your non-paid-for-yet things, because otherwise when you are paid, they are going to complain the stuff has been posted from somewhere different to that stated on the auction (ie UK) IYSWIM?

Wrt Italy ebaying- I sell quite a bit on German ebay, they seem to get ebay like the Brits do (and the Italians don't) (I get more for second hand Boden kids than I paid for it new)

crikey don't send you non paid for items without being paid for them!

if buyers don't pay open non paying bidder reports against them to get your fees back then relist

I think she means should she bother sending them to England in the empty case if there is a chance they may never be paid for?

Hi Buch ... Next time I will do that but I wanted to be organised and get them all packed up. Just got a reply from the german buyer saying just post to Germany from the UK .. Ok but I diddn't give you a postage rate for Europe and I said I was posting to the UK only....... Arrrggghhhh
