Yesterday received a jacket that i had bought for my ds. I've just checked it and it has a hole in it about halfway up the jacket on the zip and is about 2-3cms big. Its definitly been there a while and the seller would have known about it.

Not once did the seller mention this hole, said it was in excellent condition and hardly worn so what do i do now? Should i send it back or just ask for a refund as i'm really not happy about this and wouldn't have bid let alone paid what i did for it if i had known it it had a bloody hole in it!

firstly email the seller and ask them what they say

they may refund without the need for return, if not you may need to open a case with eBay. How much did it cost, and what is sellers feedback like

Have emailed the seller and she was very shitty with her reply! insisted there was no hole as she can't see one on her pic, yes i know that the hole is on the inside of the zipper and the zip keeps getting stuck in it!! she would have been an idiot not to see it.

Thing is its a lovely jacket and i really would like to keep it. Do i just suck it up and put it down as a bad experience or demand at least a partial refund?

ok - open not as described with eBay (not paypal). where it asks what you want scroll down, click other then write next to it refund

Then escalate when they tell you and eBay should give you a full refund without the need for return

and please leave appropriate feedback and low stars if you want them to count.

eBay will tell you to return the item.

I was refused a refund because I hadn't returned the item(I didn't have an address).

You'll either have to suck it up or send it back imo.

but if you tick the box other and write in 'refund' you probably won't have to return it and eBay will give a no fault refund

if you do send it back make ABSOLUTELY SURE that it is a signed-for and Tracked delivery
