Would neutral feedback be too harsh here?

Hi
I bid for and won an item on Saturday, from a UK seller, and paid immediately via PayPal. In the item description the seller clearly states that items are usually shipped within 3 days of payment. Yesterday I contacted the seller to ask when it would be posted, and they replied that it would be sent on Saturday and that they couldn't send it any sooner due to work and post office hours. The expected delivery date is listed as 12-14th March, postage is 2nd class so there's no way it'll be here by the 12th and the 14th may be pushing it.

Would neutral feedback be too harsh? I know that the seller has 7 days to post items but going by their own description I thought that it would have been sent by now.

TIA

Its your decision.

I would mark the stars accordingly too.

I have just left my first neutral feedback in over 6 years, like yours she said shipped within 3 days, but in actual fact she took 8 days to post (illness apparently) but the item was dirty AND it was sent recorded delivery when i wasn't expecting it so I had to rearrange delivery making a total of 13 days from purchase.

The thing only cost 99p as well !

Thanks. I have no luck at all with eBay, I always end up with dirty/broken items, and my only selling experience went wrong too! In the past I've fallen for sob stories but I can't believe that the seller has no access to a post office at lunchtime or after work or whenever, and if they really can't get to one then why have a listing ending on that particular day?! why don't you ask them to refund, cancel the sale then buy elsewhere

then dependant on your response you can decide on feedback later

3 working days from Sat I would expect item to be posted today.
