Do you send item to address given on paypal receipt or the one given in the order details when the item sells? I've noticed that sometimes they're different! TIA

if in doubt drop them an email to check! otherwise you may be out of pocket but it tends to be the one given on the order details :)

I'm pretty sure you're not covered by paypal if you send to an address that isn't the one registered with paypal.

Use the one eBay have. I made that mistake - I sent some shoes to the address on the email PayPal sent me to say that the buyer had paid. She never received them, it turns out she'd moved and changed her address with eBay and not PayPal. She refused to go and check her old address (it wasn't far away), and we entered a dispute. eBay sided with her so I ended up having to refund her and the shoes never turned up (unless she did go and get them and lied about it) Angry

Ask the buyer first, but you should always use the paypal address otherwise you won't be covered with seller protection - and send recorded if you are worried.

So if I'd set up a dispute via PayPal not eBay I could have kept the silly bint's the money? Angry

Thanks for your replies. Have e mailed the buyer to check then I will send recorded delivery!

no - you would have needed online proof of delivery to show item was delivered, so recorded or courier.
