How do you work out combined postage as a seller?

Short of heading off to the PO again and getting it weighed together, how do you work out combined postage?

Someone has just bid and won two v. similar items, with each P&P at £3. I don't want to pick a number and get it wrong (either way!), so how do I best go about it?

Get the two items, weigh together on the kitchen scales (if you have some) along with the packaging if practical.

Look up the postage on the Royal Mail online price finder.

Thank you. Blush Sorry, that was a very obvious answer but I hadn't thought of it! :o

No problem.

I sell quite a bit and I find it handy to note down the weight of each item when I am listing so that if I do have someone win more than one item I don't have to get the scales out and reweigh everything, I just check the list, work out the total weight and check online.

Ah yes, good idea.

I haven't sold stuff for ages and am finally clearing out a bunch of baby equipment.

Thanks again.
