Do you post overseas?

I've not sold many things on Ebay, but have listed a load of things that end tonight. It is detailed that I only post within the UK. I have been contacted by someone in Turkey who would like to buy a leather skirt. I have it listed as £2.50 for UK 2nd class delivery. What do you think? Should I still avoid international postage? Or if not, what cost should I tell him? Am really not sure of the pitfalls/costs of posting abroad.

If they're prepared to pay for the appropriate postal costs - and pay through paypal/bank transfer then I think you'd be fine.

Look on the royal mail website for how much the postage would cost - prob best to go for a reg'd delivery so you can trace it in case of probs.

Depends which country and how much the item may sell for.
So no Nigeria and I can't be bothered to figure out postage on cheap items.

Thanks for the replies. I weighed the item and went on the Royal Mail site - they've quoted just under £9 for signed for delivery, which is what I've told the bidder. I was just worried there was something I didn't know about, some reason why to steer clear of international delivery. Thanks again!
