Seller listing allowance reached?? What?

Confused I'm not a big seller at all (now, ebay buying...that's a very different story. Blush. I've had a bit of a spate listing things in the last couple of weeks - cloth nappies, and am just listing some new children's clothing at the moment. But including the two tops I just put up, that's only about 6 listings in the last couple of weeks, and before that I can't think when the last time was that I listed anything.

So why did I just get a warning to say that my seller allowance was about to run out for the month? It seems to be for certain things - clothes, maybe? - as I'm listing more nappies right now and it seems to be letting me do that. But I'd like to list more clothes. Grr.

Anyone know about this? I've never come across it before.

At the bottom of your My eBay Selling page it should give you info about how many items you've listed, and how many listings you have left for this month. I think you're allowed to start 100 auctions a month with start prices of 99p. Keep an eye on announcements about free listings days etc.

Hope that made sense

If you're a private seller you're only allowed to list one or two 'brand names' a month, perhaps it's that.

if new to selling your allowance may well be something like 10 items or a total of £100 whichever comes first but it will be at top/bottom of page and then you cna request higher selling allowance
