A buyer has asked me to delay sending an item for two weeks , as she is going on hoilday , and says the PO will only keep the item for 21 days. Is this legit?
Pay pal advises to send within 7 days.

No problem, I shouldn't think.

How badly was that worded. I mean I can't see a problem.

Shazjack1 · 29/02/2012 17:24

No problem at all. I've had to do that a couple of times.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Has buyer paid for item?

Tryharder · 02/03/2012 23:01

Wouldn't worry me as long as she paid upfront. Ask her to confirm in writing exactly when she wants you to send the item.

I think they're holding items for a shorter length of time now - our parcel cards had the 21 crossed off and 18 (I think) written in and at the sorting office it said something about it.

It is 18 days now

"Items are retained at the Delivery Office for 18 days. After this items will be returned to the sender address on the external cover of the envelope or packet. Contact the sender of the item to see if it has been returned."
